Merry Christmas, my friend! It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

You won’t believe who is here this week. New York Times bestselling author, Karen Kingsbury, and singer-songwriter, Michael O’Brien, are on the 4:13 Podcast! [Insert cheers here!]

Oh, girl, you are going to have fun and be blessed by this Christmas cheer!

KC and I talk all things Christmas: recycled gift bags, pickle ornaments, themed trees in every room, and you even get to hear KC’s imitation of the Grinch—and, sister, you don’t want to miss that!

So, pour your wassail, grab your wrapping paper, and let’s get those presents wrapped while you hang out with us and celebrate the beauty, the meaning, and the radical impact of Christmas.

2 Ways We’re Celebrating Christmas on the 4:13 Podcast

  1. Karen Kingsbury’s reading her book. When I think of Christmas, I think of family. The greatest gifts really are those you can’t wrap! So, what better way to celebrate the people God has put in our lives, than to listen to Karen read her book, Let Me Hold You Longer. It’s about treasuring the lasts just like we commemorate the firsts. Oh, sisters, you’ll need your tissues for this one!

  3. Michael O’Brien’s singing some Christmas songs. You’ve probably heard the song, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” that Hugh Martin co-wrote for Judy Garland in the musical, Meet Me in St. Louis. But what you may not have heard is the second version of the song he wrote years later. It’s called, “Have Yourself a Blessed Little Christmas,” and Michael sings it for us. You are going to love it and want to play it over and over and over again! He also closes out the podcast with the beautiful song, “Gloria.”

I’m so glad you’re celebrating with us on the podcast! This Christmas, may you know that Jesus came so that you can have life and peace. And, that no matter what you feel and no matter what you face, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

KC and I had so much fun celebrating Christmas on the podcast!
