ABOUT FEES AND EXPENSES
Jennifer's fees are contingent upon several factors, including the number of days she will be spending with the sponsors, and whether or not she has another engagement in your area. You can request her current fees by completing the Speaker Request Form. In addition, travel and lodging expenses for two people is required, due to Jennifer needing a sight guide. In the event your budget doesn't come close to these figures, you may want to sign-up for Jennifer's "piggy-back" call list. We'll be happy to call you if Jennifer is already scheduled to be in your area and she has an open date - on these occasions overall expenses can be considerably less. BIOGRAPHY  

“We walk by faith and not by sight.”

That phrase has echoed through the ages. For Jennifer Rothschild, the words are much more than a beloved scripture; they are a reflection of how she lives her life.

At the young age of fifteen, Jennifer was diagnosed with a rare, degenerative eye disease that would eventually steal her sight. It was more than a turning point for the Miami, Florida native. Her dreams of becoming a commercial artist and cartoonist faded. Words and music have replaced her canvas and palette for more than 20 years.

Known for spiritual depth, and a down-to-earth style, Jennifer weaves music, colorful illustrations, and biblical truth to help audiences find contentment, walk with endurance, and celebrate the ordinary. Through her signature wit and poignant story-telling, audiences are prompted to look beyond their circumstances, and to experience God’s grace in the midst of adversity.

Jennifer’s distinctive blend of speaking, music, and worship leadership has resulted in invitations across the country. She has made numerous appearances with Grammy Award winner Larnelle Harris, and noted authors Beth Moore, Henry Blackaby, Zig Ziglar, Esther Burroughs, and Nancy Leigh DeMoss.

In addition to her writing and speaking ministry, Jennifer is an accomplished songwriter and recording artist, with four albums to her credit – including Out of the Darkness, Come to the Morning, Not by Sight, and Live In Concert. Jennifer’s music was affirmed by the Gospel Music Association when her name appeared on the preliminary nominations for the Dove Award as New Artist of the Year. Jennifer’s latest project is the book Lessons I Learned in the Dark, to be published by Multnomah in October 2002.

Her life experience has been featured in numerous national and regional publications including Virtue magazine, Becoming Family magazine, Miami Herald, Palm Beach Post, and others.

Jennifer is also co-founder and publisher of the popular online magazine, WomensMinistry.NET. She resides in Springfield, Missouri with her husband of 16 years, Dr. Philip Rothschild, and their two sons, Clayton and Connor. She enjoys nature walks, visits to theme parks, and riding a bicycle built for two. She got a real charge singing the national anthem for the Atlanta Braves and bungee-jumping from seven and half stories. In addition to collecting depression glass and enjoying movies, she loves classical music, chocolate, and the smell of a hazelnut-coffee candle.
