We Found True North in Fargo – FGF Highlights, Fargo, ND

According to author Bill George, “True North is the internal compass that guides you successfully through life. It represents who you are as a human being at your deepest level.” We found True North in Fargo because we found Jesus there.

His joy was obvious in every woman who attended. His servant’s heart showed up in each one of the 144 volunteers. His compassion was evident in Local Conference Coordinators, Judy Siegle and Kathy Spriggs, as they worked tirelessly for months leading up the FGF weekend.

His love was displayed in our host church, Hope Lutheran Church, and each of the nine co-host churches who joined hearts in unity to bless their whole community.

Sister, it was amazing to experience!

We had a great team on the platform in FGF Fargo. Sheila Walsh shared how God is near to the brokenhearted, and Michael O’Brien explained the difference between gifts and callings and how to never let our gifts be more important than our callings. They were both so powerful.

I shared about dropping our gravel strength and falling hard on the Rock Who is Christ instead. God was with us, guiding us, leading us, and drawing us to Himself.

And, 15 women literally found their True North at FGF Fargo as they received new life in Christ—their sins forgiven, their hearts made new! Even though I couldn’t see all the women at the altar, I could hear them. The prayers, the tears, the singing.

We also celebrated 71 sisters who chose to renew their commitment to Christ, as well as 53 children sponsored through Compassion International! I’ll be forever grateful we got to come to Fargo and be a part of what God did in North Dakota.

Jesus is our True North. He is the Compass Who guides us through life. He informs, shapes, and redeems who we are as human beings at our core. We truly did encounter True North in Fargo North Dakota, and we will never be the same. Thank You, Jesus!

Blessings,

Jennifer and the FGF Team!
