The post We Lifted Our Cups, God Filled Them Up – FGF Highlights, Springfield, MO first appeared on Jennifer Rothschild.]]> The last time I posted a pic of my BFF’s on my blog, we were in swimsuits on a boat in the middle of the lake. That move on my part almost made me lose a couple letters — you know, the B for best and F for forever were definitely in question! But, Joan and Paula are my BFF’s and they stick with me no matter what, which included pouring themselves plum out into Fresh Grounded Faith Springfield last weekend! And, don’t they look cute in that pic?

They were joined by 200 volunteers and 14 co-host churches to make FGF happen at Second Baptist Church this past weekend. Over 2,000 women showed up to learn, laugh and experience God’s love. And, all I can say is… wow.

Meredith Andrews led worship and she rocked it! What a beautiful soul that girl has. Lysa TerKeurst shared about David and Abigail on Friday night and reminded each of us that humility opens up the door for opportunity. Such an incredible perspective!

And then, on Saturday, Laura Story shared her… well, her story! If you have ever heard her song “Blessings” and if you’ve ever heard her story, you will never, I mean N-E-V-E-R-hear that song the same again. She is humble and powerful and I was blown away. I cried off all my mascara and can’t even put into words yet what God did in me through her.

I am so grateful for her, Lysa, and Meredith. And, so grateful for the lovely women of Springfield who sponsored 75 children through Compassion International! 75 little souls were rescued from poverty in Jesus’ Name! Hallelujah! And, 28 precious, beautiful, loved women made decisions for Christ. May God bless and protect them as they walk with Him.

So sisters, our last FGF for 2015 is coming up this weekend in Evansville, Indiana!  Ann Voskamp and Meredith Andrews will be joining me there.

I am so thankful to our Lord for all the dear women He uses to teach and bless me. And you, my dear reader, are one of them. The love and interest you show by popping in to my blog means a lot to me. You too are a huge blessing.

So, be blessed today. As I told the sisters in Springfield, you are loved, accepted, complete and known. You lack (L-A-C-K) nothing because when you have Jesus, you have everything!
