Big State, Even Bigger Hearts – FGF Highlights, Allen, TX

Can I just say that I love Texas? Everything is bigger in that great state, including the hearts of the women we shared last weekend’s Fresh Grounded Faith conference with. Such a fun group of sweet ladies who love the Lord and showed that in everything they did.

I was extra thankful because I had a horrible bladder infection when the conference was starting Friday evening, and one thoughtful lady ran out to the store to get something to help me feel better, and it worked! That meant so much.

From beginning to end, everything ran so smoothly. Huge thanks to Local Conference Coordinator Kathy Bennett for taking care of the details so beautifully. Kathy and all of her volunteers just rocked it! Thank you to Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church for hosting us, and the 9 co-host churches who helped – you all took such good care of us.

And the FGF team? So good. Karen Abercrombie killed it as Ms. Clara Friday night. She brought down the house! Everyone just loved Lysa TerKeurst, of course, and Michael O’Brien? Those ladies were just crazy about him. We all are.

We have much to celebrate, dear ones. 32 women made decisions for Christ! We had a full house with 1,250 registered attendees, and because of their generous hearts, 90 children were saved from poverty through Compassion International. That’s incredible!
