Oh girl, God was so good to us in Alabama this past weekend. He drew 4 women to His Son, Jesus — 4 new sisters to spend eternity in Heaven with! Yes!

Some of the other ways God moved this weekend:
80 Women chose to renew their commitment to Christ
106 Women submitted prayer requests
151 Churches represented
7 States represented
147 Volunteers

And, those precious women who attended the conference sponsored 57 children through Compassion International. That’s 57 children rescued from poverty in Jesus’ name! Yes!

And, in case you didn’t notice, the theme of the weekend was “Think Yes!” We dove into 2 Corintians 1:20 and learned how we can be women who agree with God’s promises.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20)

We can think Yes and live Yes!

Stormie Omartian spoke on Friday night and reminded us that “forgiveness doesn’t make the other person right, forgiveness makes you free.”

And, Meredith Andrews shared one of her new songs that will be released this spring. Girl, you must get it as soon as it is out. It is called “Soar” and it’s based on Isaiah 40:31 — but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

We were all so encouraged and it’s a good thing because just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong on Saturday morning during my message.

Yep, I got all my scriptures confused so I would ask the audience to read a verse from the screen and it was different from the one I was quoting. #notgood

Then, after my microphone cut out several times, I asked for a hand held mic to replace my over-the-ear mic that was acting up. Phil brought me one and things were working great until I moved funny and the power pack that had been fastened to the back of my jeans came loose and fell straight down between my legs!

Yes, it looked like I gave birth to a brand spanking new baby mic pack right there in front of my 1,200 new BFF’s! Just when I was about to burst into tears because I was just so stinkin’ frustrated, a woman from the audience yelled, “We love you, Jennifer!”

Oh man, I love those women!

Aren’t you grateful we are in a sisterhood of imperfect, grace-filled, loving sisters?! Me too!

So, another thank you, Lord, is on my lips for another amazing weekend.

And a BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC, ENORMOUS thanks to the Fresh Grounded Faith team, our host church, Covenant United Methodist, the co-host churches, and the amazing volunteers!!!!! The Lord uses each of you and we are so grateful to God for you, your sacrifice, and your sweet spirits!

There will be 4 new women in Heaven you can hug and praise Jesus with!  And, 57 families will be transformed because of what you do. Well done good and tired servants!
