What do Ben and Jerry’s, Green Mountain Coffee and Fresh Grounded Faith (or otherwise known as FGF) have in common? Vermont! Oh my friends, I woke up this morning thanking God for our time in Vermont this past weekend. I find it hard to put into words just what God did there; what He did in my own heart, and how grateful I am.
Then, I got an email from our conference director Theresa Wiggins and she captured it all so perfectly that I asked her if I could just paste it here for you to read.
A big thank you goes to our host venue Coggin Avenue Baptist Church and all the churches that have participated – – what an incredible group of people. There were many churches from in and around the Brownwood area that graciously served the Lord and we are thankful for each one of you who wanted to bring this event to your area.
We had an amazing weekend with about 1000+ women and men coming from all over the greater Brownwood area, and beyond. We joined together for fresh grounded Bible study from Jennifer Rothschild, incredible testimony and sharing from Stormie Omartian and amazing worship and music with Michael O’Brien and Marcy Priest.
I attended the Saturday session at Coggin Baptist after being invited by a friend. What a marvelous experience! Instead of cleaning house and doing laundry, I got to spend some quality time with the Lord! The music with Marcie Priest, Stormie Omartian’s testimony and your inspiring testimony, Jennifer, was like sitting down with a close friend and discusssing the most important part of your life. I felt rejuvenated and renewed. It made me to remember to remind myself daily that God is so much bigger and better than anything that gets in my way. What a blessing the conference was. I loved it all. Stormie’s testimony was fantastic and the worship with Michael was wonderful. Jennifer has a great presence and such a way of getting her point across. I loved the advice she gave about getting a few sentences down instead of trying to get everything and not getting anything. I was so blessed by this conference. I needed to have a God moment and I did. Right before the conference, we found out my daughter has breast cancer. She is 33 years old. I can’t wait to share the session CD’s with her. Even her oncologist was talking about this conference that his wife attended! I hope and pray my daughter will be as inspired as I was about God’s love and healing that was conveyed in the messages of the speakers. It was such a wonderful weekend and I can’t wait to get the session CD’s. Kristie F.

I was just about to give up on women’s conferences but decided to try one more – yours. Am I glad I did! Jennifer was so inspiring by showing that she has turned her handicap into a blessing that I have tried to have a different attitude about my physical limitations too. And I have dug out the Kathy T music I had as a 20 something woman and am listening to it again. She is a year younger than me and now I feel a sisterly bond! If she ever gives up music, she can tour women’s ministry as a stand up comedienne. She had me crying I was laughing so hard. God bless you. Bonnie D.
