Well, how else could Fresh Grounded Faith Conway, Arkansas begin? Of course, Phil and I had to learn how to call the hogs!
During the meet and greet with conference volunteers, Dawn Moore, our amazing Local Conference Coordinator, taught us how to be a true Arkansas Razorback as we learned the famous cheer. But before that—as I walked into Antioch Baptist Church—I could hear the 115 volunteers singing… “Come Holy Spirit. Come Heavenly Dove. Stay right here with us, filling us with Your love.”
And, girl, He came and He filled us to overflowing.
So we didn’t just call the hogs at FGF! We called on the mighty name of Jesus to refresh us and teach us and unite us. And He did!
What a beautiful picture of how we are one in Christ. Our wonderful volunteers and eight co-host churches joined hearts to bring this Kingdom-minded event to the women in Conway and beyond, and I, for one, am incredibly blessed and thankful.
Michael O’Brien led us in worship and his giftings really ministered to and moved the women who got to listen. Angie Smith talked about recognizing God’s miracles in our lives and realizing that God always gives us the better portion.
I taught on what it means to take courage in this life and even told a story of my recent trip to Uranus. But that’ll just be between me and the sisters from FGF Conway!
What I can share with you is that God was at work! We got to celebrate 3 new sisters in Christ, 26 women who chose to renew their commitment to the Lord, and 12 children sponsored through Compassion International. Thank you, Jesus!
We called on the Lord, He met us, and we are all blessed and better for being at FGF Conway.
Jennifer and the FGF Team!
