Gladness, joy, and new life were blossoming all around us at Kingdom Life Church this weekend during Fresh Grounded Faith Greenville. There were women in attendance who were in their own desert or wilderness, and God definitely brought the refreshment of His Spirit and the water of His Word to quench their parched souls.

Karen Abercrombie ignited that place with her dramatic depiction of Rahab and through her own powerful testimony. That woman has an incredible way of bringing the Word to life and reminding us of God’s power!

Tammy Trent made us laugh and think and cry and even get up and dance! And when she played the drums, there was not a woman there who wasn’t smiling from ear to ear. I just love her energy and excitement!

Shaun Groves moved us with stories and lifted us with worship. He’s such a gifted worship leader, and we were all inspired by his wisdom and compassion.

I’m so grateful for these sisters and brother in Christ.

And, speaking of sisters, there were three past Local Conference Coordinators (LCCs) who flew in for this powerful weekend. Florida, Delaware, and California were represented by these incredible women who came to be blessed and to bless our National Conference Director, Terrie Bitter, since she was juggling a lot after just losing her sweet mom.

I just love the family of God!

Shana Sands served as our FGF Greenville LCC, and Wow. Wow. Wow is all I can say! And I was personally blessed by her husband, Alex Sands, the senior pastor of Kingdom Life, who was on campus all weekend showing such support, cheering us on.

The men from Kingdom Life followed his example and were so supportive too. They ran all the tech, helped park cars (even in the rain), and did a million other things to make the weekend run smoothly.

It was just another example of the heart of God being displayed in the family of God as they loved and served others. We saw it in our host and co-host churches, many volunteers, visiting LCCs, and all the sisters who gathered and loved on each other so well.

And girl, God did wonderful things throughout the weekend!

We celebrated 2 new sisters in Christ, 33 women who chose to renew their commitment to the Lord, and 50 children sponsored through Compassion International. Praise the Lord!

Our time together at FGF Greenville was so refreshing to me, like spring rain in my heart. And I know I wasn’t the only one who felt that way! We all “…drank in My [God’s] Words as the spring rain.” (Job 29:23)

Blessings,

Jennifer and the FGF Team!
