Friday, November 22, was a historic day for several reasons. John F. Kennedy died that day in 1963. C.S. Lewis also died that day in 1963. And, in 1963, on that same day, my husband, Phil Rothschild, was born!

Grace Poured Out – FGF Highlights, Indianapolis, IN

The grace of our Lord was poured out on us in Indianapolis this past weekend. He came to Indy to seek and to save that which was lost, drawing women to Himself, releasing children from poverty, and sharing His great love with women who may have never felt it. And we at Fresh Grounded Faith got to watch Him work!

When I was in the third grade, we had a dog named Cannoli. She was a white, completely fluffy poodle … that is, until one day when she got a haircut.

My mom decided that Cannoli needed to look a little more legit. So, she took her to a groomer. Well, of course, any groomer was going to cut her hair like a poodle—you know, with the puffy little bottom and the puffy tail with the little ball on the end.
