Today I’m “talking story” with the one and only Karen Kingsbury!
“Talking story” is a phrase I learned in Hawaii, and it’s when you have a casual conversation with someone. You know—hang out, shoot the breeze, and just tell stories.
Well, since Karen is one of the best storytellers I know who also happens to be a #1 New York Times best-selling author, I thought there’s no better person to “talk story” … about story!
The final Fresh Grounded Faith conference of the year is a wrap, and what a treat it was to end our 2023 tour in my hometown, Springfield, Missouri!
Since the Springfield conference is an annual event, it’s one I look forward to every year for so many reasons:

Have you ever been to Colorado in the fall? This past weekend, the Centennial State was crisp and cool and beautiful. Oh, girl, it was a wonderful place for our most recent Fresh Grounded Faith women’s event!
Phil and I went in a day early so we could visit some of the local attractions. We started with Estes Park where we rode in a surrey carriage (yes, with fringe on top) and then ate at Penelope’s—what amazing burgers!
