Our first EVER Fresh Grounded Faith conference during a worldwide pandemic is a wrap—and what an amazing experience it was!
We all showed up wearing masks and staying 6 feet away from each other but, girl, we all felt seen, known, and connected.

Did you know there’s a boll weevil monument in downtown Enterprise, Alabama? Friend, it’s true! And, this weekend at Fresh Grounded Faith, the sweet ladies of Enterprise told us all about it.
This 1919 landmark was erected to show appreciation to the boll weevil. But you might be surprised to hear why! You see, this beetle—who likes to feast on cotton buds and flowers—had actually destroyed the people of Enterprise’s crops. But, this community didn’t give up!
The grace of our Lord was poured out on us in Indianapolis this past weekend. He came to Indy to seek and to save that which was lost, drawing women to Himself, releasing children from poverty, and sharing His great love with women who may have never felt it. And we at Fresh Grounded Faith got to watch Him work!
Over a thousand women were worshipping, laughing, and learning together, and I loved every minute of it.
This past weekend, I was with family I had never met before in Wichita Falls, Texas. Yep, it was Fresh Grounded Faith! Sister, it was like going home.
In Christ, we are brothers and sisters, and it was so obvious at this event. Let me just tell you two quick stories that proved this.
When Phil and I had been married about a year, he was the Director of Student Life at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Part of his job was to oversee the student body’s formal banquets.
So, twice a year I had to squeeze some money from our tight budget to buy a formal dress—and, for the most recent event, I’d found a beautiful black dress at a bargain price.
For Texas to be such a big place, it felt awfully small this weekend. Maybe it was because there were so many little blessings that made such a huge impact on my heart!
For example, I met Amy. She served as the professional counselor this weekend at Fresh Grounded Faith Lubbock. Oh my—I think I met my double!
