The final Fresh Grounded Faith conference of the year is a wrap, and what a treat it was to end our 2023 tour in my hometown, Springfield, Missouri!
Since the Springfield conference is an annual event, it’s one I look forward to every year for so many reasons:
When we woke up on Saturday morning in Fargo, the air was a crisp 16° and there was a snowy landscape that shimmered in the moonlight. Even though the sun was just barely shining, the moon was still on display—full, bright, and absolutely huge!
You would think we were in the middle of winter with the way it looked and felt outside, but I had to remind myself that it’s still fall—we’re still in the middle of the harvest.
Well, little did I know that God would show me exactly what kind of harvest it would be later on that day.
Our Plant City, Florida Fresh Grounded Faith is a wrap!
Just after the event, our National Conference Director, Terrie Bitter, shared a story with our ministry team that I want to share with you because it perfectly illustrates the hearts of the Plant City women.
Terrie shared how she was heading home from another FGF, and on the flight, she watched the movie Pearl Harbor on her iPad.
“The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom like the crocus.” (Isaiah 35:1)
Gladness, joy, and new life were blossoming all around us at Kingdom Life Church this weekend during Fresh Grounded Faith Greenville. There were women in attendance who were in their own desert or wilderness, and God definitely brought the refreshment of His Spirit and the water of His Word to quench their parched souls.
The fourth conference of our Spring 2023 tour, Fresh Grounded Faith Fort Worth, is a wrap! And oh, oh, oh … it was a blessing from start to finish. There’s just no comparison to those amazing Texas women!
Our Local Conference Coordinator, Missy Watts, and her right hand gal, Emily Gentry, led this event with such grace. Our whole FGF team is so honored to co-labor alongside these dedicated women whose work was nothing short of excellent.
It was so good to be back in Jackson, Mississippi last week for Fresh Grounded Faith! We were there in 2014 at Broadmoor Baptist Church, and now—nine years later—we got to be at the same host church working alongside many of the same incredible people!
Melinda Hendrix once again served as our wonderful Local Conference Coordinator, and—to no one’s surprise—led this event and her people in such a beautiful way. She is a model of faithfulness, serving the women in her church and community for so many years.
In fact, faithfulness was what I noticed most about FGF Jackson. Here’s what I mean…
