Last weekend, we gathered in four beautiful cities—Laurel, Mississippi; Huntsville, Alabama; Joelton, Tennessee; and Louisville, Kentucky—and in each place, God met us in such personal and powerful ways.

From Celebration Church in Blountville, Tennessee to First Baptist Spartanburg in South Carolina … to First Baptist Sevierville in Tennessee and First Redeemer in Cumming, Georgia—over 4,000 women gathered together to celebrate, learn, and laugh.

Over the past 18 years, we’ve served up fresh, grounded Bible teaching to more than 150,000 women. And as a result, over 4,000 women are now in Bible study who weren’t before, more than 1,000 women have found new life in Christ, and over 7,600 children have been released from poverty in Jesus’ name through Compassion International sponsorships.

As we gathered in Lubbock, Texas for the second-to-last Fresh Grounded Faith conference, there was a bittersweet sense of celebration in the air. After 18 beautiful years, the journey of Fresh Grounded Faith is coming to a close, with our final event in November in Springfield, Missouri.

So, while we were in Lubbock, I took a moment to savor the time we had together and reflect on all the ways these gatherings have touched hearts over the years. I couldn’t help but marvel over what God has done and how He has been so faithful.

Small Town, Big Crowd, Huge Hearts – FGF Highlights, Callahan, FL

When I discovered that the population of Callahan, Florida was less than 2000 people, I was blown away, because evidently, half the city’s population attended our Fresh Grounded Faith event at Callahan First Baptist! 😉

The auditorium was jam-packed with women ready to worship, learn, and laugh. It was a big crowd in such a little town … but, oh, did they have a HUGE heart!
